SHAWN HELPED ME WRITE THIS

There's been so much crap rattling about in my head the past couple of weeks. I had a million ideas for when I got back into my blogsphere, and now, here I sit, blog-challenged.
This bites.
Maybe it's because Shawn is STILL home, on the very day that his boss promised that he would be back at work. I swear, he is driving me CRAZY(er). He won't shut up about some dream he had about me fooling around with the guys from 38 Special.
Yeah, right.
It could be because while I was on the phone with both KC and J, he mimicked me, repeating everything that I said, and throwing some gibberish in with it.
There must be trillion little repairs that he could be doing in this house, right now. Seriously. Half of our furniture looks like it belongs in a frat house. You know the kind I mean. First, the legs broke off of our sofa in the front room. I didn't mind, because that way, Porky can get up and down from the couch on her own. Then, a couple of days ago, the base came off of the matching chair. It's like a video game chair now. Well, kind of. Like a hideous wing back 80's flowery video game chair.
Shawn is shouting blog topics at me with lightening speed. Some of these topics include Ron Jeremy, throwing up, his fathers unyeilding compassion, the kid next next door, his loser friends, spousal abuse, Shawn's desire to start his garden, the smell coming from the basement, my brothers wedding, the asian lady the patrols the street in her slippers drinking from a large metal pot, and...no matter how hard you try, you can never unbotton a belly button.
SIGH.

LOL! Good one, I think you should go back and take your time on the "No matter how hard you try, you can't unbutton a belly button" topic. See what you can do with it. And don't you just love it when they give that type of help? I usually just ask KB to guest blog!

The man is a gold mine. Seriously. He is an untapped well of...all kinds of stuff...

I personally want to hear your take on ALL of that stuff!!!

which topic are you going to choose?

Cindydianne - Shawn refuses to do his own blogging. He can't type, and he doesn't want to learn. I think that he likes to think of me as his Girl Friday or something.
So, you like the belly button thing? I swear, he comes up with this kind of stuff 100 times a day. It's too much, really. I think that he's on his own with the buttoning/unbuttoning thing. I'll let you know how it goes tho. :)

Heidi - You wanna hear my take on all of it? GAWD. I wouldn't even know where to start. His fathers unyeilding compassion is at the forefront right now. I might make that into a blog. Lots to write about there.

Dilling - I might snap some photos of the little lady patrolling the street. The smell from the basement is scary...I'll leave that up to the kids to figure out. Could be the turtle.
The kid next door? We don't have one. I wonder who Shawn is seeing that he thinks is a kid? maybe it's the little lady with the bedroom slippers drinking from the cooking pot. Who knows.

Oh good lord you are not going to leave us hanging about the lady in the slippers with the big pot.

I mean, you do care about all of us enough to write about that, don't you????

Or you could always just write about Shawn....!!!!!

Heidi - Write about Shawn? What do you want to know? Cripes. I could do a mini biography on him. I did one when I was at Medix. He is very ...um...interesting, isn't he? I'll try to snap a photo of the pot lady. I will. I'm charging my cell phone as I type this.

Bummer about your hubbie not being able to go back to work yet.

Ok you can not leave me hanging about that asain lady!

whimsical - I will TRY to post a photo of the pot lady. She's (probably) harmless, but is a tad scary looking. She's always crouching down in bushes, or hiding behind fences. She wears a winter coat year round, and carries around a big pot that she fills at one house, carries down the street, drinks a bit of the water, dumps the rest out, then refills it again. She does this all day, well into the winter.
Honestly, you need to see her to get the full effect.

"the smell coming from the basement"

A lot of the topics sound interesting or fun, but I'm a little scared of the smell coming from the basement, unless it's chocolate or roses of course. ;)

Well you are certainly back with a bang biddie. :) Is it greedy to want to hear about all of it? Shawn sounds a blast but I think you should get him to check out the basement pronto!

Use your mobile / cell phone or plain note pad to jot a snippet of an idea. That's the best to atleast help blogger block. However, spontaneous idea are usually best; get them while they're fresh. Y:-) Paddy

Sounds like Shawn should start his own blog! You'll soon get over the writer's block.

her indoors - I don't know about GREAT posts, but I do hav esome crap in my head, alright. Still haven't figured out the belly button thing...

4D - No worries about me going down to the basement. I'll send someone else! I think that it's just a musty/damp/old house smell, but you can never really be sure.
it's good to be back. I missed every one SO much.

Corky - Nope, not roses or chocolate. Something less enjoyable. Anyway, Shawn has a whole list of topics that he wants to explore, so it could get interesting!

Tod - I couldn't get Shawn to go into the basement for anything! He hates it down there cuz the ceilings are so low. I think that he's just being a tad dramatic anyway. Really. He is nothing if dramatic.

Paddy - I have thought of carrying around a little note pad. I really should. I get the best ideas when I'm on the bus or grocery shopping. I think that once Shawn is back to work, and i can get peace and quiet, I may be feeling spontaneous again!

Asterisk* - Shawn doesn't type, so I'm his secratary, or what ever. I can only imagine what he would write about if he had his own blog. It scares me a little.

I know what the smell in the basement is. It's the alligator.

Biddie said...

Heidi - Sshhh! Do NOT get him started on that! He'll be all..." I miss Booger..." and stuff.....

Hey Shawn AND sis, I bet my boy is taller than yours boy....nanenanebooboo can't catch me Therefore, don't be afraid of the basement, just duck. (quack, quack)

Biddie said...

Hi, Lucky - I'm not exactly afraid of the basemant, I just prefer the UPstairs. Less musty and such. Anyway, sister dear, when are you and the tall boy coming for a visit? Kayla is losing her mind, she wants to meet her cousin SOOO badly, and I miss you SO. I do, I do, I do. J is so tall and grown up now, you won't even recognize her.
Are you coming soon? Are you? Huh? Are you?
