Scared

If you have medical tests done and the doctor won't give you the results over the phone, does that mean that it is bad news???

No, not always :)

No it may mean that he can't bill for the phone call. He can bill if he has you in to talk.

I had a doctor tell me to make an appointment to talk about test results--to tell me I had a urinary tract infection. That was irritating. Or, if it is something serious, the doctor may want to talk to you in person or to give you literature. That happened to me last year when my blood work showed that my good cholsterol was dangerously low. Overall cholesterol was good, but the good cholesterol was scary and the doctor wanted to talk to me about it. I hope all is well...good luck!

I believe they can't tell you anything over the phone, and it makes sense. It could be somebody else posing as you.

Best vibes for your appointment. Everything will be OK.

Thanks for the words of encouragement :)
The doctor called me in because he did have some very serious things to discuss with me...Maybe I will blog it, I'm still in shock and can't decide...
