Bad News

I think that I am going to be off line for awhile. My cable/phone/internet company just called me and said that my account is suspended. I can live without my 'net, I suppose, but my phone? Apparently, I will still be able to get calls in, but I can't make calls out. That will be a big fucking help when Shawn has to call about jobs.

Sorry about the cursing. I just feel sick, and I feel like giving up. It will take us forever to get caught up, and I don't know how we will do it without a phone. Never mind if Jessie gets sick.

So, I might be around, I might not. I still have all of my services, but I bet that by tomorrow they will be gone.

Be back when I can.

Biddie

Are you with Rogers Home Phone? If so, go to a payphone, call Bell's free number and ask to be switched back to Bell. That's what I did after an unscrupulous after-market phone retailer decided to double bill us and suspended our service when I called to challenge the bill. Bell should be glad to have you back! ;-) I hope that it works for you.

pheonix - I am thinking of doing that, but they also have my internet and cable..I dunno if Bell can take care of that. If worst comes to worst, back to Bell I go....
You know, I really wouldn't be so pissed if I hadn't made a payment on SATURDAY. Today is Monday. What is that? Two days? If we were not paying anything, then it would be a different story.

Aw crap!!!!

I hate when that happens. Have you called them to tell them that you just made a payment????

(I still have some stamps and I remember how to use them, I think!)

Heidi - Yuppers, I did. I also told him that the person that called me before I made payment said that as long as I keep making payments, I would be ok.
So, this asshat that called me tonight says 'well you spoke to the wrong person. that was customer service, not billing.'
Umm, ok. Well, they never told me that I had to call anyone else, and they calld me to see if I was making a payment, so you can see why I am confused. Just pisses me off. I paid $200 two frickin days ago.
I will lose EVERYTHING, and I just can't live without contact. This is about the worst thing that could ever happen.
I will write to you, though. :)

Mmm. Hope you're still online.

I don't like Rogers at all...

are you there?

Bell doesn't have TV (except their ExpressVU Satellite service) but they do have internet through the phone. I've switched to Bell Sympatico internet and now Rogers just has my basic cable subscription. Too bad for them... poor customer service costs you customers in my book.

Oh my gosh - this would be like losing a lifeline -

hey, I'm sorry I haven't been around facebook - I am going crazy - they keep telling me to reset my password, and when I do, they tell me to reset again - I have not been able to get on for weeks.........

I hope you get a miracle to keep your services up....

Oh Biddie, I'm sorry to hear that. Too bad you can't start a collection fund...maybe if everyone who reads your blog donated $5 you'd get it fixed :-(

I hope it all works out girl.
I don't know anything about Canadian law so I can't give you any suggestions.
but sounds like talking to a supervisor would be a good thing to start with.
