A Cornicopia Of Awesomeness

Today our package arrived from Lucky. I felt like a little kid at Christmas! Inside was all manner of randomosity, including, paper cups from Starbucks, Luckys' fav mac and cheese, sea monkeys for J, 2 ipods, family photos, keychains hand made by The Nephew, dry soup, microwave popcorn......The list is endless!
I think this is my favourite gift of all. Can you read what it says? It says RECLAIM YOUR SENSUALITY. Reclaim? I didn't know that I ever lost it. Shawn is so excited. It's like spanish fly for grown ups. I don't know if this was a gift for him, or for me!

Among Shawn's fav gift was the Useless Information Quiz book. I love it! There are about 10 hand-me-down sweaters and t shirts for KK and J. And jewelry. And shot glasses. Post its, candles, and telephone, Grateful Dead stickers.......I swear, she put in one of almost everything.
How cool is my sister? I haven't seen her in about 3 yrs. We're hoping to get together for TMOC's wedding. I can't wait.
Anyway, I am off now. Since Hubby is laid off right now, we might as well make use of some of this time to try and reclaim our sensuality. Maybe. I'm thinking about it. We'll see what happens....

I have got to meet her. Anybody who puts junk food and sensuality in a box and mails it to her sister is my kinda chick!!!!

I expect you and your Man will be busy for awhile...

Heidi - actually, I am afraid to try the Spanish fly. (American fly????) My God, what have I gotten myself into? I'm afraid that Shawn'll start popping them into my coffee in the mornig or something. Yikes.

Bunny - Thanks for stopping by! My sister is soo creative. And wonderful. I love getting packages from her, because they always make me laugh. She puts so much of herself into each package, it makes the distance seem a little less well, distant! I miss her soo much....

Cool gifts. Shot glasses always come in handy at my house. I'll drink to anything. Here's to you and your Hubby reclaiming your sensuality!

Tod - we got the box this morning, and we're still sifting through it. We got a little book called Life's Little DE Struction Book - 512 boorish, insensensitive and socially obnoxious pointers for leading a simple, self centered life. Hours of entertainment, hours.

Corky - Here's the thing about the sensuality thing...Why is my sis parting with the 'vitamins' so readily? Hmmmm.....I swear, Hubby is already looking happier. Ahhh, the anticipation.

Oh you so need to review the senusality stuff and how to reclaim it. Is it really that easy? I'm looking at hubby right now, alseep on the lounge as usual, one hand flung over the face to shade his eyes and the other predictably protecting the crotch.
Hmmm way sensual. I think the fly would end up in my soup.

Oh what a grand gift, your sister must be a very fun person. She probably had as much fun gathering the presents as you have had receiving them. Wow

kate isis - The 'Spanish fly' are actaully big purple pills. Too big for soup. They promise to give me more energy, and improve my over all health. Something fishy here. If they're that great, why doesn't Lucky want them for herself? I feel like a guinea pig, but hey, I'm game. I'll let you know how it works out.

mjd - I think that she really did have at least as much fun gathering them as we did recieving them. She is so thoughtful, and sweet, funny, and generous. I truly feel blessed to have her in my life. She was worth the wait!

hope you are all still having fun with your box of goodies

camie vog - My sister is the Dead Head. I'm more punk rock. Lucky really is the coolest sister ever. Hubby and I tried the mac and cheese yesterday, and it is pretty good. The girls were so happy with the ipods, that when KK opened hers, her hands were shaking.

ldbug - I'm still a little unsure about the whole reclaiming thing. hubby has been telling me all day to take my pill, I keep 'forgetting.' Oops!

Coffeypot - Well, you never gave ME your address, so I couldn't pass it on to Lucky. I really am the lucky one.

her indoors - we got the package put away yesterday, but it took awhile. The girls love their ipods, I've never seen them so happy.

People,people,people....PLEASE! Oh, I so did NOT give up the 'reclaim' vitamins. I'm not that goofy! Of course I have a good 4-5 boxes for myself! Silly, silly people! I wouldn't have my bb sis be a guinea pig, jeez, give me some credit here. They're just vitamins...really. Fun ones, yes. xoxo Lucky
