First Day

Today was Jessica`s first day of highschool. She has to wear a uniform, and you can see how thrilled she is.
Sigh....she is growing too fast for me.

I always wanted uniforms in our schools. It makes life so much simpler for the parents.

cindydianne - Simpler, maybe, but more expensive. I do think that she looks cute though...well, when she smiles, anyway.

She's growing all right... and she's getting prettier every day.

My kids were very excited about going back to school (all four of them, would you believe?). But I had to call home at around 4:30 PM today, because nobody would tell me anything about the first day of school (or 'new year's day', as I call it). I don't think it went too well... :-)

gabriel - My kids didn't tell me much, either. Kayla is in grade 12 now..I feel so old.
She is a pretty little thing, isn't she?

Yeah and she appears to be about 6 ft tall!!!

I've seen worse uniforms though. It's not real hip but it's not tarty. It's just that she's so stylin, this is a step down.

My kid has to start at 8 am. Torture for a teenager!

She was so cute when we took her shopping for the uniform. You should post the one of her Kayla...the one where they are pouting not doing bad things, you know.

The first day of school! Oh no, the horrors...

Uniform or not she is very pretty and you should be worrying about the boys more than if she likes her uniform. Maybe sit outside the school with a shotgun on your lap.

I think she looks adorable by the way. But OMG don't call a high schooler adorable. lol

Looking back, I liked uniforms in high school. Made mornings so much easier, and no competition for who was wearing what brands, etc. I also think it looks more scholarly.
