Dear Asshats

Dear Asshat(s):
Thank you so much for the quality time that Shawn and I have been allocated due to your thoughtlessness. We will now have many hours together thanks to the fact that you have stolen all of Shawns drywall tools. I do mean all. Two extra large hockey bags full of thousands of dollars worth of tools, some that we will never be ale to replace.
I am just curious....What are you going to do with a fall arrest system that is made for someone Shawns size? I hope that you have fun with it. It took us three years and $200 to find one in the size we needed.
We only recently replaced the tool belt - also a speciality item - and all of his tool pouches. It took us so long to replace everything because we have to save our money to pay for these things. By the time Shawn pays his expenses every month, we are lucky to have enough to go around for the basics in the house....
Those hockey bags were $50 each, as well. They are pretty dirty, so I doubt that you can use them for anything. Drywall dust seldom comes out of hockey bags and leather pouches.
You must have needed 6 industrial extention cords, too. They are fairly unsightly for use in the house, but you must have really needed them.
I bet that you will have a blast with the $700 laser level, too. Oh, the hours of entertainment!
Thank you, Asshats. Thanks to you, Shawn is unable to work until we replace his tools. Unfortunately, we don't have thousands of dollars sitting around to buy new tools.
You can see our dilemma. No tools = no work. No work = no money. No money = no tools.
I am still stunned. This will set us back for years to come. I hope that you will sleep soundly in your beds tonight, knowing that you have just ruined us.
I for one, will not be sleeping much at all.

Holy kick in the gut

Have you reported it??? Where did it get stolen from? It's gotta be another tradesman that took it all. Who the hell else needs any of that stuff?

Put the word out that it's missing.

There aren't many guys his size. If anybody finds it they should know who it belongs to. Holy crap, whoever stole this stuff has clearly never seen its owner, or theyd be too scared to lift it.

Asshats? yeah. And stupid on top of it.

Good god, you guys did not need this to happen.

Oh my God Biddie, I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. When Gigantor started his one job at the steel yard, his dad gave him about 10,000 dollars worth of tools, that he had in his truck and used some out at work. One of the co workers stole them all. The boss did nothing, even though it had my husbands name on the stuff. Even the cops did nothing. We were out all those tools, had to start all over.

I so feel your pain, and I am so very sorry.

I hope you find who did it and can run them over with the car. hahahaha

If it is not one thing it is another. It is so hard for you and I am sorry.

Many people read you and care - and with the things you constantly need money for - your meds, Jessica, food and now tools? - I would think it wouldn't be above or beyond [knowing how everyone cares] for you to put a paypal donate button on your blog.

It might not amount to much, but I am sure everyone cares enough to help in anyway they can. A lot of your readers are in the US and it isn't easy [so I have found] to just send a money order or US bank check to Canada for someone in your situation. So I suggest a paypal account for help.

I know you don't want charity, but from reading your blog your readers would be doing something out of love, not charity and you [of all people] certainly could use whatever help you can garner.

I wish you the best.

Oh God, I am so sorry. The paypal thing sounds like an idea. Oh Biddie I love you and I feel sick right now. WTF?

Sometimes I think that you and I are leading the same life, just a couple of years apart...

We've been in this situation, felt the same way, and refused to give up. Good always comes around, it is the waiting that makes it unbearable. Mr. Vog now spray paints large areas of PINK on his equipment. 'Cause Manly Men don't like pink on their ManTools. So far, it has been a pretty effective in keeping what is his. Plus, if they are stolen, they are easy to identify.

Sorry to hear this, Biddie. Lots of love to you all, from Michigan.
