Ruby and The Babies......

The baby bunnies are living in the old bird cage for now. Ruby is just dying to get to them, as you can see from this photo.....

Does Ruby want to snack on them or play with them?

whimsical - She wants to play with them. And mother them. She actually climbed right in the cage...The poor little bunnies are used to getting big Ruby kisses now.

that is so sweet! Dozer would just sneeze on them and Grimmy would bark his ol' fool head off!

awwww!.. htat's sooo cute...I could never imagine my dogs doing that.. (they don't even play with each other!)

Marni - Porky sneezes, too, but Ruby won't let her get close enough. Ruby seems to think that they are her babies!

myat - Ruby is still a puppy, so there's lot's of craziness in her. Our old gramma dog barely notices them...

Does he just want to sniff them? I guess it's good they're living in a comfy cage!

what a great adventure!

thanks for sharing!

ldbug - She just wants to mother them, and play a little bit. The cage is more to keep them from wandering off. Their little legs are still stiff and they end up walking in circles....

melanie - It is a great adventure. There's nothing like a baby, even if it is a baby bunny....

Life,
20 days until the official due date. I ate an entire can of pineapple for lunch on hubby's orders. Pineapple has been thought to help progress labor... Hub's will be home this weekend, that 's why he is pushing for her to come now. Like I have any control over it. Worst case scenario, he'll be 10 hours away when it happens...

Those rabbits are so cute. My friend had a rabbit that lived in his back yard and it must have lived for at least 10 years. It was fun to feed it. His name was Duke, after John Wayne.

I can't eat your bunnies, but go to my site. Today, Feb. 9th, is my daughter (Marni over at its-a-pugs-life) 40th birthday. Go to my blog site and listen to the song in her honor. Thank you for this commercial break.

What a venture you are undertaking - but they are so sweet and helpless and fuzzy and soft and - and - I know ya gotta do it.....foster bunny parents...hmmmm

4D - We don't care for ol Elmer much round here...No wabbit huntin' either. Sorry.

Camie - you can't blame me for trying! Good luck with the little 'un. I'll be thinking of you....

Corky - None of our bunnies seem to last that long...They are so dreadfully cute, tho. Want one?

Coffeypot - I love the little ditty that you downloaded for Marni!

Gardenia - I love the little bunnies. I really do. There is something special about a tiny baby...
