Introducing Lint Brush

This is Lint Brush, or LB for short. He is one of Henry's babies and I just HAD to introduce him to you. I'm not sure why, but he has a bald spot. See it? It cracks me up.
In other news, I have come to an agreement with my (2nd) x husband regarding child support. He is paying less than what the guidlines say that he should, and he hasn't been paying for any of J's extra's. He has a great benefit package, but other than her Rx's, he hasn't helped with anything. Even with his benefits, which cover up to 80% of the fees, I still pay about $120 a month for J's diabetic supplies. If we went to court, I would be awarded an extra $80 a month, plus I would be entitled to more to help with the cost of medical supplies. I don't want to fight, though. I will have a tough road ahead with Rudi, and I can only manage so much crap at once. I proposed this. X #2 (we call him Goof), will pay the same amount of support that he has been. He will pay for the deductible on her eyeglasses, and he will pay the cost up front. He will pay the deductible for the dentist, and he will pay it up front. If the deductible is less than the 80%, then we will split the cost. He will also buy her a box of needle tips every other month. He is still beating around the bush when it comes to her braces. She needs them and neither one of us has any coverage. I won't pay for them alone, it just isn't happening. Anyway, we got a lot settled, and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me..
I did this.
ME.
I did this all alone.
Now, I just have to deal with Rudi.
The thing that gets me about Goof is this. He hasn't seen his daughter in about 2 years. Her birthday, and Christmas passed without a word from him. When we spoke on the phone, he didn't ask about any of the girls. Not once.
I don't get it.
I have gotten a few ideas for my next blog. Tod wants to know the worst advice that I ever got. Dilling wants to hear more about highschool with Heidi. I believe that Ldbug and Gardenia mentioned something about cheese..Heidi asked about the dog and TMOC...I still have lots to think about. I think that I'll ponder it tonight and get back to you.
Night.

I know why you felt compelled to show LB. He looks good enough to eat. Bald spot and all.

I am proud of you for your accomplishments. Though you don’t want to fight, but kicking a little ass make you feel good sometimes. And you are fighting the right battles.

Hi, Coffeypot! I was just at your place, checking to see if you had been around.
Thanks for the kudos. It really did feel good to get that worked all worked out. I know that I will have one hell of a fight on my hands with Rudi, so I really do have to pick and chooses my battles.
About the bunnies....Stop drooling! Bunnies are for cuddling, not cooking!

Good job! I'm glad you're starting to kick some ass Biddie! First the Goof and next the block of Cheese. Sounds like a Pixar movie in the making!

I can't believe how chintzy "x's" are - my grandson just mentioned going to the service so he could get an education - of course, I flipped out - BEECAUSE the "x" had been bragging for years about the college money he and his mother had put back - now he wants his child to go to Iraq, THEN college because its paid for?????? Not to mention the most recent one in my daughter's life, while he was courting promised to buy both kids prepaid college plans. The "x" put in a $25,000 swimming pool complete with palm trees, but couldn't afford to visit his kids with a $500 airplane ticket one summer. Boy, what is wrong with these guys?

Corky - Well, well, well...it's about time you made it over here. Really. I was at your place a half hour ago.
Kicking ass feels good, and I did it without arguing or causing any undue turmoil. I really just want my kids to be taken care of, and it's about time that the bio fathers chip in.
I love Pixar. Goof and The Cheese. You just might have something there, Captain Corky.

Gardenia - Out of sight, out of mind. Rudi has stopped his support altogether, and stopped paying for KC when she turned 18, even though she is in college and lives at home. He hasn't spoken to the kids in about 2 yrs. Goof hasn't spoken to the kids in about as long (he raised KK and KC) and even tho I get his support (it is taken directly off of his pay)he 'forgets' that J has special needs. If we went to court, I would awarded WAY more money, but I just want to keep the stress levels at a livable amount. For me. I think that this is a great arrangement, for both of us.
Your x SIL needs to ahve his examined. Why would you choose to have your kid go into a war zone? For an education? Yeah, right. Imagine the education he will get in Iraq.

Hey, have I mentioned to you that I am SO PROUD OF YOU FOR first of all PICKING UP THE PHONE and second MAKING ARRANGEMENTS with Goof???

I mean, I know that you can be a reasonable grown up but him...well. You held it together. You were awesome.

You are.

Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Heidi- You know thatI can handle Goof. It's Mimi that stresses me out. Still I did have a mini panic attack at the thought of even phoning them. It does feel pretty good.
Thanks for the support. I really did hold it together, didn't I?

Marni - Isn't LB the cutest? I want to keep him, but I know that he has to go...We already have our allotment of bunnies....SIGH.....

KC - You already know all of these stories. You just love hearing them again and again. I haven't decided which one to tell yet....

Ldbug - Are you feeling beter? LB is ok, just bald. Can't figure it out. he's still soooo cute, tho.
I hope that I have won this battle..Keep your fingers crossed for me.
