~~~~Mugshots~~~~
Well, I did it. I made it to the police station, and got my fingerprints and mugshots taken.
I saw the mugshot, and I look like one sad lady. Seriously. I look like an escapee from a country song. You know, ran off with my hubby, stole my bible, and shot my dog.
You'd be sad too. Not only did they take my photo, slap black paint all over my hands, but they weighed me.
Anyway, I survived it without a full blown panic attack.
Thanks for all of the support, guys. I couldn't do this without you.
Marni - You and me both. I feel like this is a huge waste of time for everyone involved...The court system is already over worked, over booked, and under staffed.
Thanks for the hugs. I don't know where I would be witout you guys.
Once the judge dismisses this nonsense I think you should celebrate by throwing a block of cheese through the window of that store.
Dilling - exactly. thank you.
her indoors - Thank you. Now I have to deal with court...Sigh..
corky - How was shor leave?
I would actually like to stick a block of cheese up that security guards tail pipe. Just sayin'.
Well done for getting through it all. Now lets hope the store drops the whole stupid thing.
Tod - I wish. I don't think that it's going to happen, tho. I can still wish.
That is nuts, absolutely nuts - I bet the people running you through this were embarrassed.........you are coping with this waaaay better than I ever would..........
....let's hope you get a sane judge who is in a decent mood........
Gardenia - I'm hoping for a lawyer that will tell me that this can be taken care of in one day. I can't imagine being dragged through court for this, I really can't. I am not as worried about how this will turn out as I am about actually standing before the judge in a crowded court room, pleading me my case.
UGH.
here's to sane judges.
Oh Biddie, you poor thing. I am super glad that you made it through. I knew you would though.
But, if you life was really a country song you would have mentioned your mamma, a train and getting drunk! ;-)
Biddie said...
Cindydianne - I had Shawn with me, thank goodness, and a visit with Heidi yesterday to raise my spirits. It was a HUGE help.
Trust me, it's a country song! I'm writing one as we speak!
glad yer got through it. Yer should have broken into song n given em a loud rendition of 'Stand by your man' or some'at.
4D - I wasn't feeling very brazen yesterday. In fact, the cop is lucky that I didn't puke on her. treated me like a common criminal, they did. The nerve.
This is just so wrong! I'm sure you'll get justice in the end but I hate that you have to go through this. I'm proud of you for being so brave!
Ann said...
I'm so sorry you had to go through that. The whole thing is just completely insane!!
Hopefully it will all be resolved soon.
Biddie said...
whimsical - Thanks for the kind words, but I don't really deserve them. I'm not brave as much as I am just going thru the motions, you know?
ann - I hope that the judge sees how silly this is, I really do. I keep wishing that the whole thing would just go away, but so far, no luck.
mjd - The support is what is getting me thru this. Truly. Good to see you again!
"My life is a country song"
Geez, I love you!
I will never steal your bible.
Biddie said...
Heidi - Steal my bible? You'd have to dig around in the basement 1st....Crap, could you FIND my bible?
Love you too, babe.
stinkypaw said...
Sorry you had to do this... but for a real country song you also needed to get drunk and cry a lot! Hang in there!
Biddie said...
stinkypaw - You're right..drinking is a must in most country songs...Crap. I will be crying on my court date, guaranteed. Half way there...........
ldbug said...
Whew, it must be a relief to have that done!
Biddie said...
ldbug - It is a relief, but now I'm worried about court. I'm not worried so much about the outcome. Even if I am found guilty, the worst that will happen ( I think) will be probation. I just dread it altogether.
