I fell asleep last night humming this...Michael and had a great time going through all these. I think the Bugaloos were by the same folks doing Pufnstuf~funny accents'n'stuff...Phylllis Diller played the nasty witchy lady...everyone was supposedly really tiny, like bugs.
I actually found the Bugaloos last night. it was Martha Raye that played the witch- close enough to Phyllis Diller to give me the serious creeps. I want to link your blog, but I haven't figured out HOW yet... I'm working on it.
I totally thought it was Phyllis Diller...then again, when I was watching that stuff way back, I probably would never have know the difference between the two...especially in that garb!
Jack Wild died earlier this year of throat cancer. He was a nice guy. Used to frequent the same pub as me in the late 70's early 80's. Never had airs and graces. He was a struggling actor but a good one.
Did I call him Jack London? I knew that he was Jack WILD. Had an argument with a moron that insisted that it was Davy Jones. PLEASE. Don't suppose that you know him too?

I loved little Jack London, too.

They both scared the crap outta me. Shudder.
Wow! Thank you for that clip! I remember sitting in front of the TV open-mouthed at the magicness of it all!
What a blast from the past!
Thanx for stopping by, weren't the 70's a hoot?
