After visiting Rick, the Palm Springs Savant, I was suddenly struck with the mood for some retro stuff. I wanted to hear some Petula Clark. What better to put me in a good mood then Petula Clark?
What better to put ME in the mood? How about the wind is blowing, the sun came up, the sun went down, a leaf is falling….? It doesn’t take much. Petula is okay. How about Lulu or Cindy Lauper?

I watched the colour version of this video, too, but decided to post the b/w. It seemed more..real. She rocks, doesn't she? You KNOW that the talent is all hers, not manufactured by someone else.
Captain Coky - I LIVE downtown, so I know what you mean about the crack. Still, I love it here, and I love Petula. You're right, shit HAS gone down hill since then.
