Ok, I will be super quick, because it is almost midnight and I am trying to get stuff done.....I will be at the hospital for about 13 hours tomorrow, and I won't have time to write.

Not much change today. Jessica has a new monitor, new pen needles, and a new insulin regime. They will be checking her kidneys this time around, too. That is really all I know.

She is ok, just bored and lonely. I stay with her as long as I can, but, as she keeps reminding me, I am boring. We have been playing Wii, watching tv, walking the halls and playing board games. There isn't much else to do. I hope that her kidnesys are fine and we can take her home soon.

Thanks for praying and thinking of us.

I'm very sorry to hear that she's bored and lonely, but at least it seems she's doing better...

Again, Biddie, please let me know if you guys need a hand. I have two!

Not that this wouldn't be boring (and I'm sure she'd be ticked at me for suggesting it!) but would the school have some stuff they can send? Maybe something interesting.

Kind of a bad idea, since from my experience, school doesn't even do what they're required to do...

Hang in there. They'll get her fixed up and she'll bounce back. There's a lot of resilience in that tiny body.

The hospital should have a library, don't you think?

Hug her for me okay?

Gabriel - Thanks. I don't really know if there is anything...Mostly we are bored stiff. How many times can you play the Simpsons version of Jepordy?

Heidi - Actually, KC already picked up some work for her, but it math and she doesn't get it. Of course, I am completely unable to help her. It's like greek to me. I think that I took grade 9 math 3 times...Would have been nice if they have sent more work.

Heather - Hugs xx

Poor kid! I agree with Heidi, hospitals should have a public library branch in them. Is it possible to get some of her friends to go up an visit in the afternoons after school? Or are you under a quasi-quarantine like we are here in Guelph with the measles outbreak? All the best and I'm sending all the good vibes I can your way!

Oh Gosh, back in the hospital again - so sorry. This happens suddenly doesn't it? May all the hands that touch her be ministering hands.

Volunteers should put on plays and stuff... so the kids can have something to take the piss out of. ;)

I hope she's feeling better.

I am sorry to hear that Jessica is in the hospital. I bet extended hospital stays do get rather monotonous. My thoughts and prayers are with the two of you. Take care.

They have Wii in the hospital? Wow! That's neat! I'm sure it helps to pass the time!

Biddie... I hope everything is OK.

You made it to my top 10 this month. Here is the link.

Send Jessica a hug for me.
