10 things that you might not know about me

#1 I am deathly afraid of heights. I won't even stand on a step stool.
#2 I once had my nose broken after I was hit by a Grey Hound. Not the bus, but an actual grey hound. Smashed my face and broke my nose.
#3 I used to work at a morgue,in one of the local hospitals. I helped with autopsies. That's why blood and guts don't bother me much.
#4 I have a Yoda lamp in my living room. His eyes light up when you turn him on. Creeps the kids out. Big time.
#5 My best friend and I have never had a real fight. I think that it's because she is too sweet to argue with me, and knows that I can't be reasoned with. It's true.
#6 That I partied with The Forgotten Rebels. This means nothing to those of you that are not part of the Canadian punk scene, but it was big news when I was 15 and hanging with them.
#7 That I was once picked up by the cops for suspicion of attempted murder. Long story. No actual charges laid. I'll save that story for another time....
#8 I was once attacked by squirrel. True story. I tried to help the little bastard escape a garbage can in Toronto. Never again.
#9 I once "borrowed" a car with my best friend in Nova Scotia. Course we didn't know who the owner was, but we did return it. Drove it right back into the driveway.
Almost as good as new.
#10 I spent the night with Hubby in an old, HAUNTED, mental facility for children. That was spooky as hell, and I will NEVER go back there again. Another long story. Save it for later.

Animals don't seem to like you much.

I'm also axiously awaiting both the murder charge story and the haunted metal hospital story.

Actually animals love her, they literally can't get enough of her.

Neither one of us can be reasoned with, my love. We're both unreasonable. That's why we havne't felt the need for a knockdown dragout. Like, why????? Cna't be bothered.

I'm sweet but I'm nuts so it's cool.

Do elaborate on some of those. The pre-Heidi ones sound interesting!

Man, have you LIVED!

Put a disclaimer on number #10 so I know it's coming. I might have to read it through my fingers!

I can't wait to hear about number 10!

You have had an interesting life - my run in with the Hometown PD was the most exciting thing like that that has happened to me.

*bows to greatness of interesting stories to come*

Michael and I have an R2-D2 lamp in the spare bedroom. It's not creepy. It's so cute!

honestly, most animals do like me... I was babysitting 6 kids the night that I got hit by the dog. 6 kids, two dogs, a cat, total chaos. I was picking toys up from the stairs, kinda on my knees, you know?,not looking and ... the 2 dogs came flying down the stairs chasing the cat. By the time I knew that they were coming,it was too late. I was flat on my back at the bottom of the stairs. Didn't get paid extra for that, either...
My best friend IS too sweet to argue with me. really.
The attempted murder...that little thing? It was nothing.. I had myself a stalker many moons ago
( before we called them that )and one night I snapped, turned the tables on him. That was in Nova Scotia, not pre- Heidi, just while we were apart.
The haunted mental hospital.. I have had many paranormal expiriences, but that was one of the worst. I do have some photos that I could post..
Has my life been interesting? I suppose so.
Ah, my Yoda lamp. He is a tad creepy. He's hand made, a little spooky, but I love him. For some reason, I knew that dilling would be kindred spirit. I would kill for an R2-D2 lamp. maybe that was a bad choice of words.
Later.

I had a hard time keeping track of Biddie when she was out east.

Actually Bid, I have a hard time keeping track of you now too and you don't really go anywhere!

Biddie said...

Hey, Punk. was wondering where you were.
I'm right here... really don't go far. Our road trip is on for tomorrow...I have so many bills to pay, that our little trip will be one nite away at a no-tell motel. I'll take it.
That #7 really got some attention. You know the story..The semi pro middle weight boxer. Sean E. Betcha that after all these years, he still remembers me.

You'll have to refresh my memory at that BBQ. I remember something about it. But as I mentioned before, mind's a bit blurry.

Hey Punk- squirrels are evil. Evil!

I am trying to come up with ten things about me you don't know that I am actually willing to share!!! Yikes. That's a tough one, ain't it?

Biddie said...

oh yeah,lot's that I didn't want toshare,or couldn't. the whole murder thing...nobody,died,and as far as I know,the police aren't looking for me.....It does make for a good story,though

That was one of the best days at the park...the squirrel. Remember when S and KK trapped one and the crack head neighbors freaked and tried to release the squirrel? That was really funny too.

Biddie said...

Ah, fond memories of the crack heads. Do you miss them already?

dilling said...

If you do, I will gladly wrap some up and send them along. I have friends at Canada Post.

Biddie said...

No thanx. turns out we've got a couple next door. They're way quieter, less trouble, more entertaining. Thanx for thinking of me, though.
