The Barnyard

I don't do reviews,it's too much like english all over again, but I will tell you that you have to see this movie. Hubby and I took our 11 year old to see The Barnyard yesterday. Not only was there no swearing, or sex, but we all enjoyed it.
Sam Elliot, Courtney Cox, Kevin James, Wanda Sykes and Shaggy all provide voices in this family friendly comedy. I actually laughed out loud. If you have kids, or, if you're like Hubby and I, you just love animation, check out The Barnyard.

I'm still scared.

But I might be inclined to rent it cautiously if you and Large Man liked it.

Seriously, it wasn't my 1st choice for a movie, but I loved it. You'll love the nosy neighbour. Think Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched.

Thanks for the review. I'll see if my son is into it. The only time I go to the theater is to see kid flicks. I haven't seen an adult movie in over a year. But I enjoy good animation too. "Cars" was the last movie we went to, but honestly I wasn't that impressed with the story.

We love animation, we saw Monster House a couple of weeks ago,it was great, too. I know the thought of boy cows( with udders ) is a little frighening, but once you get past that...

I LOVE Sam Elliot...I have a strange desire for him... I want him to read me stories with that gravelley voice...book after book. Especially those Travis McGee mysteries, since once upon a long time ago, he played Travis McGee in a movie and I fell in love... and I reread them every once in a while, envisioning Sam Elliot every time I do. Weird, eh? I know.

OHMYGOD! I feel the same way. I just didn't want to admit that even as a cow, he kinda turned me on. I probably need therapy for THAT now,too......

I loved this movie too. I recently took my five year old to see it. He cracked up through the whole movie!
