This is the family portrait that my daughter drew on her 1st day of school this year. Isn't it precious?
This really is the picture that KC drew on her 1st day of school this year. The funny thing is, she just started college. Imagine spending thousands of dollars on tuition and THIS is what she comes home with.

puzzling, isn't it? I;m struggling at this point to figure out exactly what they're teaching her...
OK, I find this outrageously funny. I only hope that she isn't an art student? If so, I might question the program.
**hoping I didn't put my foot in my mouth**
No no, not an art student!!! Advertising/media. I thought that it was funny, too. Now everyone will know what I look like. ( I'm the one with the scowl on my face)
think how much Jackson Pollack made for his canvases of paint splotches...hhhhmmmmm...
I see a moneymaker!
Actually, KC seems to do better with adhesives..We've had several talks about podging responsibly....
I LOVE podging!
I love the picture. Did you put it on your refrigerator? It reminds me of an Etch-a-Sketch. Remember those? Happy thoughts!
It IS on the fridge!!! How funny. I love etch a sketch. This photo was actually drawn on the computer,so it is a little herky jerky. Still better than what I could do.
That is SO funny!
holy crap, she did that on THE COMPUTER? ok, that changes everything.
This pic was done on the computer, the ORIGINAL was done by hand. This is a near exact copy of the original.
what a great artist mmmmm sorry forgot she had just started college! oh well it still a great drawing nice to see what you look like!
her indoors - the resemblance is uncanny. I'll be recognized everywhere now!
Into the Tate Modern with it! 3 mill at least!
4d- my thoughts exactly!!
Oh...I feel compelled to create another picture for you...maybe one that includes adhesives.
No that is not a scowl on your alter-ego but a wry smile like Mona Lisa.
mdj - I like the way you think...
Nice pic to be on the fridge. I guess she must be a fine arts major.
willi - thankfully, NOT
College, huh? I've been reading some studies recently that outline the overemphasis on higher education in our world...that college really doesn't prepare a great deal of students for a real skill...
Hmmmmmm......
With KC's skills, I'm not worried. That kids going places!
