Ponderings........

Today, mostly because Iam uninspired, I am posting some interesting (?) little known facts.
Taphephobia - is the fear of being buried alive.

Clinophobia - is the fear of beds

Cat urine glows in the dark under a black light.
The longest recorded flight of a chicken is 13 seconds.....

Yup, that's all I got. It's Sunday, and everyone is home, even KK. Hubby and I are making lasagne today, the kids have been waiting months for this. Must go now, lots to do.

Hmmm. I wonder is there an opposite to Clinophobia? Because I think I have that...

Enjoy the lasagne!

Depends what, or who I'm buried under...

Only with feather quilts. Make me sneeze.

My cat's doesn't. That's why I slipped over in the kitchen a couple of nights back. Bloody moggy missed the tray...

They fly further still inside the egg....

todemesne- I think that I have the same thing..

4- lasagne is about the only thing that I make...that is good enough to eat, anyway. I would invite everyone for dinner if the commute weren't so damn long. The cat pee? I have the same problem myself. Slipped in it one night and landed flat on my face. Nice.

see what happens when we have to much time on our hands...we ponder..
closterfobic: afraid of been in closed places...thats what I have..cat pee not here my cat knows better than that.he wants to be polite...lasagne I'm a cook so every now and then I'lll make one for the customers....

I am not afraid of small/closed in spaces, but they do make me uncomfortable.
I wonder if dog pee glows under a black light? The cat is usually pretty good but Ruby...You're a cook, fancy-face? I bet you make a wicked lasagne. Probably puts mine to shame.

actually helpful, I'll pass along the cat urine thing to a friend...his cat pees on his bed, ick

Biddie said...

ldbug- I thought that it was helpful, too, but I don't have a black light. Other things glow under black light,too...Might want to warn your friend about that.
My brothers cat peed on his futon. I don't know why, but putting an extra litter box out helped.

um, I am only really afraid of hotel beds...and since I won't be buried, I am not too concerned with that...though I AM deathly afraid of oatmeal...is there a name for that?

Biddie said...

If there is a name for an oatmeal phobia, I can't find it. I think that we should name it after you.

I don't think the fear of being buried alive should be a phobia, that's just common sense people.

I think my friend's cat is jealous. He always has a 'lady' friend with him, and the cat gets upset...I giggle at his predicament, but, he brought it on himself!!

I think that my brothers cats are jealous, too. Or pissed off ( no pun intended ). He's even had his leather jacket peed on. It makes me laugh, too.

I cannot even begin to imagine having a fear of beds! My only fear regarding beds is that I won't get to lie down in one soon enough.

cindydianne - I'm with you. In fact, I think i'll go have a nap righ now.
