The Weigh - In

It's been nearly one month since I took J to see her doctor. On the 18th, we go back again. If she hasn't gained any weight, or not enough, she may have to stay at the hospital. I think that she may have gained a couple of pounds, but she had previously lost 11. Short of a liquid butter diet, I don't know how to put the weight back on. ( On her. I have NO problem gaining weight. ) So, I'm a little nervous about that.
On Monday, Hubby and I will be celebrating 5 years together. In some ways, it feels like so much longer. I can barely remember life before my guy. I think that we may just take the girls out for dinner. Unless J is in the hospital. Then it'll be cafeteria food all around.

Happy, happy anniversary!

I hope all goes well with your girl, and that a trip to the hospital is avoidable. Good luck to all.

Yes, the years go quickly and I agree with you and willi - it does seem like our time together is a lifetime. And that's a good thing.

We'll be thinking good thoughts for you on the 18th.

Visiting here for the first time from Spring of the White Robin
(and if I knew how to add a link to my comment, I would.)Interesting comments there about why people blog and yours caught my eye. So, here I am. I love the picture of Ruby. The pictures on First Day of School are interesting and much better than anything I could draw. And, I hope that the "weigh-in" goes well.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that no hospital stay is required.

That picture is just too precious.

So...we just got home from from the hospital. J has gained almost 8 pounds!! We have to change her insulin dose, and she needs to do it more often. We're now looking at about 6-8 needles a day. If we can get her b.g levels under control, then we'll be stylin'.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Hi to my new friends that have stopped by. Keep coming back!

sorry I don't have any advice, but I hope things go well. Like you, I have no problem gaining weight, I look at a piece of chocolate and gain 10 lbs.
