Please, keep in mind, these are only prototypes...
Kayla's Pop Bottle Shoes..She told me to tell you that you MUST wear socks with these or your feet will be torn to shreds. I dunno..isn't that a bit like wearing socks with sandals?
OMG!! I am so glad we have a bottle deposit law here in this state! If we didn't, every teenager in this city would be wearing them. "oops, sorry. I put them in the recycle bin by mistake...I didn't know they were your SHOES!!!"
Heidi - See, I don't think that I want her and the boy getting together on this...really. It could be baaaad.........
whimsical - Theses are just the first ones off the block, the testers, the prototypes..All of these problems need to be worked out. You are right though. I wore a pair of these things, and they have NO traction. Almost killeed myself. On mothers day. Sheesh.
Hmmm, I am going to start saving pop bottles for when our economy crashes or Bush decides to invade Iran - my mother tells me during WWII, one could not find any shoes that an ordinary salary could purchase -
As to the May 29th post - Kayla has to be a very unique individual who is creative and far above ordinary shoes!
You musn't be serious??? First of all, out here in Colorado we call them (sandals?) birkenstocks. and a variety of boarding/ski socks are a "one must be sportin" in the winter with the Birks! Love ya, come check it out sometime, silly!
Has anyone ever heard of "crocs"....I believe they originated here in beautiful Boulder Colorado. Just "tan the leather, oh, yeah, plastic" and color....Boulderites often prefer tye dye. Put a little tire tread on the sole and you're good to go baby. Yes, every sock I've ever owned is worthy of tye dye..nice marketing idea you see with the sock factor, it will probably draw attention to your "prototype" and in turn you may move quicker into the final product with all that input!xoxo

chopski - LOL! I love it! Sounds like you have met my Kayla! Stop by anytime!
hey, you never know it might just catch on - the next fashion craze "Pop Shoes"! he! he!
I am glad that I stopped by this evening.
There they are...the famous pop bottle shoes. They really are something. They cannot be that comfortable with or without socks.
Those need rockets on the side of them so you can fly while you're wearing them. That would be cool.
Where is you Biddie?
